New from the vault is a recording of the Westdale Jr. High Stage Band from 1987. "Wildcat Jazz" was a one-take affair, under the direction of Mary Carlson, recorded live in the studio in Winnipeg, MB. Although it is in the spirit of the Dondero High School (and numerous other concert band recordings shared online), the tracks here are more traditional stage band repertoire, but there is a 6 minute drum solo!
